One Response to “Can i place my real estate property in a Land trust and not trigger the due on sale clause of my mortgage?”

Currently, that is right. Hopefully, that loophole will get closed.
This is exactly how so many real estate investors are taking people’s propery and flipping it to people with terrible credit. The investor (middle man) gets his cut and a few years later, the original owner gets foreclosed upon.
If an investor is suggesting this (or if a Realtor is), do not do it.
