Most North American people have a habit of carrying honest amount of debt. It is usually the credit card debts. If you have the similar lifestyle, you may be able to pay $100 on three different credit cards debt in a month. You can get out from that habit if you can have your consolidate credit card debt.

Let’s have a look on this calculation:

Just say that you have a Mastercard, a Visa, a Learn card, and an American Express. They have 12% per year interest rates. The monthly minimum fee is 2% of your balance. Let’s say that you owe $2000 each and you have to pay the minimum payment, which is $40 each card. The interest is not included in it yet. But if you pay $40 per month on a card, you will pay at least $280 only for the interest.

You do not have to do it if you can consolidate your credit cards. The first thing you have to do is getting a new credit card. Then, you can pay your Visa, Mastercard, Learn, and AmEx debt off by putting the balance on your new credit card.

By transferring your balance to the new credit card, you can not decrease your monthly minimum payment. But you can decrease the money that go for interest in a huge amount. It can even decrease your payment up to hundreds dollars in a year. So, you can pay your debt much earlier.

There is another way to consolidate credit card besides using new credit card. You can takeout a credit card consolidation loan with your bank. Credit card interest can be up to 29% or even more. You may be trapped in an un-finished debt cycle. Payday loans help nothing at all. With a debt consolidating, you can pay your debts off an interest of 5% – 6% which can save much of your money.

If you have a terrible rating of credit and you are worrying your possibility of getting consolidation loan or credit card consolidation, you do not have to be frightened, because there are many lending institutions which provide it especially for people like you. Although the interest rates are higher than those for excellent credit, but, it is much lower than credit card fees. By the time you pay it back, your credit score will be improved.

It is not a excellent thought to carry a huge credit cards burden there are many institution that can help you to solve it. You can get a better rate. So, you can pay your debt off without being poor.
