im going to get financial aid for a community college.
i dont work, and im getting like ,000 dollars for my whole tuition. 
im pleased about that.
but… do i have to pay that money back to the goverment?

it depends…is this a grant, a loan, what? a grant can be paid back if you fail to pass your classes or complete the semester. Loan certainly needs to be paid back, scholarship is similar to a grant.
