Newbie question on using a home equity loan?

Written By: admin on June 14, 2009 2 Comments

I took out a home equity loan many years ago (making monthly payments on it) with my bank.

How do I go about really using that loan for home improvements instead fo charging stuff to my regular credit cards?

What documents do I need?.

you should have received checks to use when you want to draw on your home equity line.

use the checks to pay for improvements or pay with card and use check to pay card balance.
