STUDENT LOANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
Ok, I am going to be a sophomore in college this year at the University of Tennessee. Tuition, along with room and board, and a meal plot, is going to be approx. 14,000 for the year (Aug-May). I don’t qualify for federal aid, my parents make too much money, yet we can’t pay for my schooling. I did get ,500 in Stafford loans though. But even after that, I need about ,000 in additional private student loans to cover the rest after my scholarship.
I applied by myself and didn’t get approved because I don’t have any credit. My parents didnt get approved as cosigners, neither did my sisters (which got approved last year), or SEVEN other working people I tried. (a couple of which make k+ a year alone) I mean, really, what am I going to have to do to get an education? It shouldn’t be this hard!
And I know the economy sucks right now… but really?
